At Blessing Foundation, we believe that access to proper eye care is essential for overall health, education, and quality of life. Many individuals in underserved areas of Agra face vision problems and untreated cataracts due to limited access to medical services. In collaboration with NSIC, we organized 8 eye check-up and cataract camps across villages to provide essential eye care services to these communities.
These camps were held in Dhaunauli, Raibha, Nagla Ajeeta, Artauni, Bamrauli, Sadar, Bodla Sec 6, and Baipur, covering 200 beneficiaries per camp and identifying 30 cataract cases for treatment. In addition to eye examinations and screenings, free spectacles were provided, and awareness on eye health was promoted, empowering communities with knowledge and access to proper vision care.
Through this initiative, we aimed to provide comprehensive eye care services to underserved communities in Agra, ensuring early detection, treatment, and awareness about eye health.
These focus areas ensured that communities received timely eye care, gained knowledge about maintaining healthy vision, and had access to essential treatments, improving overall quality of life.
